Central Otago, in collaboration with other associations in the region, comes together to organize a 6-week program designed for players in the Under 13 age group. This program culminates in a 2-day tournament that is hosted and rotated by various associations within the region.

Under 13 teams will participate in the 6 a-side, U13 Festival in the region. The Under 13 training program will span 6 weeks and with a start on Sunday, August 18, 2024. After that, the sessions are scheduled for Tuesdays (Year 7) and Wednesdays (Year 8). Year 7 training is conducted in two groups: Central Otago East (in Omakau, covering the Maniototo region) and Central Otago West (for the Wanaka, Cromwell, and Queenstown region, with training locations alternating).

Year 8 participants in this program will train for 11-a-side games, and they will have the opportunity to play their first official 11-a-side games at the end of the program.

Year 7 training sessions will primarily focus on 6-a-side play.

• Tuesday, 3 September: Year 7 - Queenstown / Omakau

• Wednesday, 4 September: Year 8 (11-a-side) - Cromwell

Session 5:

• Tuesday, 10 September: Year 7 - Cromwell / Omakau

• Wednesday, 11 September: Year 8 (11-a-side) - Cromwel

Session 6: Festival in Cromwell

• Sunday, 15 September: Mini Festival - Cromwell
