COMPETITION
All of the Central Otago Hockey Association competition fixtures and results for the various grades can be found on the PLAY HQ website... just follow the links below.
CLUB
SENIOR WOMEN
The senior women's competition begins in May and runs for approximately 10-12 weeks. Games are played in Cromwell or Queenstown on Saturday afternoons.
SENIOR MEN
The senior men's competition begins in April and runs for approximately 10-12 weeks. Games are played in Cromwell or Queenstown on Monday nights.
SCHOOL
SENIOR RESERVE A-GRADE
The senior reserve A-Grade competition suited for secondary school players.
It is a 10-12 week programme (depending on team entries) in Terms 2 and 3.
Games are played in Cromwell or Queenstown on Friday afternoon / evenings.
SENIOR RESERVE B-GRADE
The senior reserve B-Grade competition suited for secondary school players.
It is a 10-12 week programme (depending on team entries) in Terms 2 and 3.
Games are played in Cromwell or Queenstown on a Thursday evening or Sunday afternoon.
JUNIOR
KWIKSTICKS
Kwiksticks is a 12 week programme run in terms 2 and 3, generally for Year 7 and Year 8 players. Games are in Omakau, Cromwell, Wanaka and Queenstown. Games are either on a Tuesday or Wednesday night.
KIWISTICKS
Kiwisticks is an 8 week programme in term 2, generally for Year 5 and Year 6 players. Games are played in Omakau, Cromwell, Wanaka and Queenstown on Mondays.
MINISTICKS
Ministicks is an 8 week programme in term 2, generally for Year 3 and Year 4 players. Games are played in Omakau, Ranfurly, Alexandra, Cromwell, Wanaka and Queenstown on Sundays.
FUNSTICKS
Funsticks is a 6 week programme run in term 2, generally for Year 1 and Year 2 players. Games are played in Ranfurly, Omakau, Alexandra, Cromwell, Wanaka and Queenstown on Sunday afternoons, and is run by the clubs. Please note there is no draw on PlayHQ for this grade - it is organised directly by the teams.
